Did You Leave Your New Year's Resolution in 2014?

Ever year after the holidays have come and passed, we set New Year’s resolutions. We tend to promise ourselves that this New Year is going to be the year we are going to lose weight, save money, go back to school, have that much needed vacation, redo the house, and the list could honestly go on and on. However, how many of us have already left 2015’s New Year resolution in the now gone 2014?

Many of us look at the New Year as a scapegoat from our problems that we so dreadfully are trying to get rid of through the beautiful magic supposedly coming with the New Year. Has this outlook been beneficial? No, absolutely not because a true lifestyle

change does not come in the form of a magic pill.  The change we as humans are so badly looking for during the holiday season is a microwave form of change. This form of change never produces change because it just fades away along with the previous year.

Commit to a lifestyle change, a plan that will really produce the change we find ourselves searching for year after year. A lifestyle change will last longer than just the day New Year and that actual year, but it will become a part of you. You would no longer have to worry about beating yourself up for leaving your resolution in the previous year because a new you will appear every day. Create a lifestyle change and I promise you won’t even remember you left your 2015’s New Year’s resolution in 2014.
