John 15:1-5

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart

from me you can do nothing.

The Cycle

Romans 8:17-18

17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

The menstrual  is the cycle of changes that occurs for the purpose of reproduction. It is essential for the production of eggs and for the preparation of the uterus for pregnancy. The menstrual cycle occurs only in fertile female humans and other female primates. The rise and fall of levels of hormones during the month control the menstrual cycle.

We go through cycles in life male and female. We go through cycles of hurt, pain, anger, resentment, depression, feeling overwhelmed, loneliness, disappointment, tiredness, burn out, and anxiety. Sometimes we feel as if we don’t feel God so He doesn’t hear us.

Paul writes:

2 Corinthians 1:8-9

We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters,[a] about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it.9 In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.

There is nothing wrong with going through a cycle, in fact the cycle is the only reason we are able to produce. We all must go through the cycle in order to grow our faith and keep our focus. As shown below the cycle has more rises than falls that’s why it is important to keep moving.

Fighting the cycle will only cause you to swim against the current and in turn cause greater cramps, pain, hardship, and heartache. Going with the flow of the cycle will keep you in sync and in the right direction.  The fall is the catalyst to the rise.

The cycle is an unbroken circle. It isn’t meant to last forever nor does it have chains attached. You are supposed to get out.

What happens if  you stay in the cycle too long:

If you stay in the cycle too long you become unable to produce (Mark 5), we try to use our own means to heal the situation but only end up making it worse. Farmers understand that in some seasons you have to give the land a rest because its become overworked and no longer able to produce the harvest it once was capable of giving.  You elongate the cycle by listening to people with no vision and you miss your opportunity. Thank God for second chances because you have to go all the way around again for a chance to get it right this time. Only faith in Jesus will allow you to get out of the cycle. You have to do something radical like trust God without doubt instead of physicians and medicine men (doctors, street pharmacists, psychics, horoscopes, etc.).

What happens if the cycle stops:

If the cycle stops you become unable to produce. You have an issue. Something preventing you form being able to conceive,  maybe there’s an obstruction, a benign or malignant growth, a wall, a defense mechanism. Causing you to be unable to be intimate with God, maybe that issue is pride, greed, arrogance, or lack of humility. If you are to reach out, He’s able to give you power and make you whole, so you can move forward. The first step is recognizing there is a problem with you, not God. Call it out so it can be destroyed.

James 4:6-8:6

But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.”[c]7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

The Pregnancy

The extra weight, swollen ankles, back pains, and mood swings. Many have witnessed a pregnancy, lived with a pregnant person, been pregnant, or seen a pregnant person in passing. The pregnancy comes after we get out of the cycle and God has added His extra to our ordinary. Its a time of expectancy, excitement, preparation, and sometimes discomfort. We know something is happening. Things are changing from the inside and effecting our outside. We are preparing for something new. In the early stages we know something is coming but we are not sure of exactly what it is. As time progresses we receive revelation, we learn about what we are carrying. We don’t wait until the birth to make room for it. We clean up, we make space, we set up a special place just for what’s coming. The closer it gets to the time for it to come anticipation turns to anxiousness. Our body can’t handle it anymore because one person is carrying around something they didn’t create by themselves or for themselves, before you know it the water breaks.

The Birth

Labor includes pain and action. There is pain from something trying to get out and action from pushing  it out. Labor is the work involved in bearing and bringing something forth. It doesn’t feel good but it is for good. Labor requires action to take place. You can’t give birth with out a few pushes and deep breaths. Its important to remain calm and know what’s already been spoken is tangibly manifesting. The birth is the manifestation of revelation.

Romans 8:19

For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. You are identified by your fruit.
