Cajun Shrimp Pasta

  • 1 to 1/2lbs of shrimp

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 1/4 cup of cooking sherry

  • 1 to 2 tbls (add more if you like things spicy) of Cajun seasoning

  • 1/4 cup of green onions (optional)

  • 1 small container of whipping cream

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • angel hair pasta

Melt one stick of butter in a pan and add chopped garlic. Stir for 1 minute and then add shrimp and seasoning. Cook until the shrimp are no longer pink. Add green onions (optional), sherry and whipping cream. Stir for 1 minute but do not bring to boil. Serve over angel hair pasta. I serve this with a nice salad on the side.

Serves 2 to 3 depending on how much shrimp you want. I usually do 2 1/2 pounds of shrimp for my family of 4 because we LOVE shrimp:-). When I add more shrimp, I will also add a little bit more whipping cream and Cajun Seasoning.
